A: If your present web hosting provider can no longer satisfy the requirements of your site, or when you suffer from frequent network downtime, or if you are forced to wait for hours for the help desk support team to reply to you, it may be smart to switch your provider, i.e. to transfer all the files for your web sites together with your databases from your current provider to your new provider. This is the reason why we’ll accomplish all that for you at no cost!Our highly accomplished technical staff members will migrate your website content from your current web hosting provider to us. Our technicians have a lot of experience migrating web sites and can handle anything – from a typical WordPress–based blog or Joomla^™–based web site, to a very elaborate, custom–built application.

A: While we cannot give you an exact ETA, because there are lots of variables, including the physical size of the files and databases, the location of the current host’s server, the complexity of your site and the present workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we will do our very best to transfer your site within 48 hours, and in some cases – within 24 hours (if the website content is not very large).

A: We do not need any information that is sensitive. We’ll need, though, the login info for your old hosting account as well as the name of the site that you’d like to migrate.

A: In order for us to begin the transfer of your web hosting account, you must first open an account with us. Opening an account with us requires that you to share literally the same details you have given to your current web hosting provider. We’ve also got an extremely rigorous Privacy Policy, which specifies how sensitive information is used.

A: While we transfer your site, it will be available both in your web hosting account with us and in your account with your previous hosting provider. When the transfer is over, we’ll make certain that everything is functioning properly and that the integrity of your data is not compromised prior to informing you that the migration is finished. After that, we’ll instruct you how to move the domain over to your web hosting account with us and how to change the DNS settings.

A: Nah. Apart from your login info for the Control Panel, we will not need anything. We’ll never contact your hosting provider. They will not know anything about the transfer either.

A: We can transfer your website from any hosting provider or any Linux–based hosting platform so long as we can receive access to the Control Panel and there’s File Transfer Protocol access available.The only websites that we cannot transfer are those based on closed–source software applications like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square and Mr Site.
